VAN decline, don't think those are the pieces VAN is looking for. I don't see Horvat going anywhere either unless he wants out.

It's not awful, but I would be disappointed if I were a VAN fan. I'm not high on Studnicka, Ahcan isn't turning any heads, and DeBrusk has had two down seasons in a row now; I'm just not sure that BOS has the pieces to pull off a big trade unless they're willing to move someone like Carlo.

One's a LW, one's a RW, one's a defenseman, and one's a first-round pick. What other kind of "piece" is there?

The LW is a roster player, the other two players are good prospects, and the first is a first.

Pierce’s are good but I think Vancouver would want a “sexier” prospect when dealing their captain.

For Horvat, Miller, or Boeser, Carlo would indeed have to be in the conversation. And I agree with most others here that Boston would have to be dangling sexier names than Ahcan and Studnicka if Vancouver is receiving a prospect or two as part of a package for Horvat or any of their big name forwards
