Description

Assuming Michkov and Bedard are top two in 2023, making trades now to get picks that could be lottery contenders.

My preference is Michkov at this point, but either one will be good (both would be better)

Ideally, it would be fining teams that are maybe decent now, but could be way worse next year. Teams that are bad now wouldn't trade out of their picks. Teams that would be good next year won't be in lottery.

Neither of those teams are trading what are expected to be lottery picks, especially without conditions. With NYR expected to push for a playoff spot in 2022-23, that means the pick with at least be in the teens if not later, depending on how well NY does. And neither Schneider nor Kravtsov are even close to worth a potential 15 spot jump in the draft, even if it is only potential currently.
