I'll ignore the 1st part of the comment. Spezza, if he wants to get back at Pionk, fight him, don't go out looking injure him, that just makes the situation worse, then Winnipeg might retaliate on the Spezza hit and it escalates fast

The only reason y’all are calling it intent to injure is pionk FELL before spezza hit him. He’s already going full speed he can’t stop. He’s not a figure skater he can’t stop on a dime and go oops my bad here’s a hand up. He was kid stride and pionk fell at the wrong time.

Spezza had to fall down to hit Pionk, if he skates continually, he won't knee Pionk in the chest/head, that's intent to injure

Idk what you're looking at. Pionk is kneeling towards to the ice to play the puck. After he played the puck, Spezza leaned into Pionk and hit him in the head/chest area.
After what Pionk did to Sandin, it's not a surprise that Leafs players were targeting Pionk.
Therefore Spezza skating into Pionk is intending to injury. You really think Spezza just happened to skate into Pionk and hit him in the head after what happened. Its not rocket science
