not to sure what philly would say and not really sure if i wanna move lysell. other trades good.
wagner won't be in our starting 12 again. blidh, stud, kuhlman, steen all have proven more valuable. lauko will probably be better next season

I would say try closer to 1x3 with bonuses for bergeron. 3x7 is bat s**t crazy.

Ditch the philly trade. Smith is fine as a 2RW.

Love the idea of trying to ditch haula. He’s useless.

You think nearly a ppg center, and one of the best defensive ones in the league, is gonna take 3M? Like I get going one year at a time, two at most. But that offer would be a slap in the face to one of the best Bruins of all time.

You see the line about bonuses? I could be saying he should get 1x15. I’m not, but 1x3 with 3 in very attainable bonuses seems like a good solution to me.

I did see that, but my point is 1) why would he settle for an “earn it” contract and 2) why would Boston due that to a legend. Just seems to me that you can avoid any bitterness by offering a 1/2 year at 6 per and be done. It’s still a smaller cap hit then he’s got now. I just think a 1x3 w/ incentives is just as far off a real offer as 3x7 is

It doesn’t have to be, “earn it.” It can be based on games played. They did it with chara. They did it with Iginla. Iginla is probably the best example. He had a 2M deal with 4M in bonuses for games played that was a pretty low number. It gave the team flexibility to add at the deadline, and the player got his money. Easy.
