The Ducks should keep Pastujov and the picks. Wideman wouldn't make the roster, Toffoli isn't really needed and the Ducks shouldn't be buyers this season. They're playing relatively good right now, but they're still rebuilding.

Ducks trade is a joke. Pastujov is the steal of the draft and Ducks aren’t interested in trading any top prospects. Ducks wouldn’t even move toffoli for a second

I mean for a guy that can put 25-30 goals per season it’s pretty fair value in my opinion but I respect yours. Toffoli has a pretty good contract too and even tho I love Pastujov, he is not your top prospect.

I agree but the value market is not the same as the real value of a player. If he’s the best defender available, he’s worth a 1st round.

It's not about the value. It's just not a move the Ducks should make. They shouldn't be buyers. Pastujov isn't the Ducks' top prospect, but he's a top prospect. I would say he is the 3rd best prospect the Ducks have behind McTavish and Perreault (excluding goalies) and ahead of Thrun and Zellweger.

I agree with you. I just think that a team like the ducks would try and do that with their recent success

I disagree with my esteemed colleague @AntreDiAnaheim in that I think that you have the value for Toffoli right, but as my equally esteemed colleague @TZ11 says (and E.C. @GeneralLandro implies), Toffoli isn't someone we really need at this point in OUR rebuild; we'd be better off with Sasha Pastujov and the second (even if it IS over-the-horizon). So The Usual Ducks Suspects (hereafter to be collectively referred to as "The THUDS") are in agreement on this exchange.

I don't think Caps would pay a 2nd for two players they don't need at this point. They have plenty of depth guys.
