I can do that for you from a vancouver side. Hughes is an awesome PP QB who stinks at 5 on 5.
Pettersson looks legit broken.
Vancouver gets the best player in the trade by a country mile, who has nine years left. Grzelcyk is very solid and fairly paid. Haula stinks, but at that point, whatever.

What I can’t do is justify boston destroying their franchise.

Also maybe you haven’t seen any Canucks games but Hughesis nowhere as bad as you think he is. You can say what you want about them but together they hold substantially more value than Grzelcyk and Haula and it isn't even close.

I think you’re confusing what I’m saying with “those Canucks players aren’t worth anything.” I’m not saying that. But this is a trade for Charlie freaking mcavoy. Yes, Pettersson looking broken does matter when it comes to a team trading their franchise player.
