I just don't see Ron Francis trading away his marquee free-agent signing from this summer -- especially for a rental, a cap dump and a future first. Replacing those guys with Yamamoto and your namesake would be more like it.

I wouldn’t do either trade. Grubauer isn’t playing as good as he is able to, and Foligno has some injury stuff right now, and we don’t have the cap to keep him for 2 years. I just want to ask one question… why do you have 2 accounts? I’m just curious.

He said that?!?! Connor Brown can get way more than 30 points. He has 9 points already, and last year got 35 points in 56 games. On pace for what, 61 points in a full season.

He counted the year he played with the leafs and told me he’s averaging 30 last 4 years. Except he doesn’t want to admit Connor Brown was playing behind Marner, Nylander and Kapanen. And I told him Connor brown is averaging 51pts in Ottawa mostly being deployed defensively

Yes you are 100% correct! Man, I would’ve never thought he would say something like that. The last how many years, he was on pace for around 50+ points, and like I said, last year he was on pace for 61 points in a full 82 game season. I would personally love to have him on Edmonton, and he would be on our second line. Yamamoto would be the one that gets pushed down to the third line. He is a super underrated player and a lot of teams could use a player like him! And he’s so cheap.

Yes he is! Yah, if he thinks Brown is a 30 point player, he is wrong. He’s a good 2-way player, and of course if he was on a contender, he would get a lot of hype. We would love to have a guy that is good at takeaways, as the oilers always turn the puck over. He would easily be our 6th best forward on our team, and he would on many teams.
