Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Don't know how accurate all the trades would be, but if any are unfair or you have a different proposal lmk in the comments. Basically this is if the Penguins are big contenders at the deadline. I think Malkin on a little bit of a discount to stay and then Letang making the same, since he's played unreal, would be ideal. Tried to get some toughness with Kadri, Deslaurias, and Lemieux. Foresberg would play insane on Crosby's line, and Malkin and Guentzel always play well. Fleury I think would be the perfect mentor for Jarry, and would give us one of the best tandems. Also two first round picks in next years draft would make the rebuild much easier and quicker, since that draft class is very stacked.

1. You're over the cap.

2. Zucker as a pending UFA has more use to Pittsburgh than it does to Ottawa.

3. Going from Alex Galchenyuk + Calen Addison + a 1st round pick from the first Zucker trade to just a 3rd pick is horrible asset management on your part.

Especially for a Cup Contender like Pittsburgh.

I get that, but part of that has to do with giving up a first to get Zucker. He is not worth a first, at least not now, and there's no way we'd get one back for him. This was a move to get rip of cap.

Tbd whether POJ and Kapanen are our future imo. POJ hasn't been very impressive and Kapanen has been very disappointing so far. I like both players and hope they turn into a big part of our future, but personally don't think they've shown yet that they are.
