I’d swap Miller and Horvat honestly. Simply just cause Miller is older

I don't see the Canucks not getting at least a 1st and high level prospect in a Horvat trade otherwise why make it? He is a very solid 2c and captain. These are very difficult to find.

Ducks should be very aggressive on Boeser of Vancouver is willing to move him. He's the exact type of winger they need for Zegras. Likely costs at least a top prospect and a 1st (Probably top 10 protect that pick), but it makes a lot of sense for both sides

They're getting two firsts, one of whom has virtually proven himself as NHL material and the other of whom is a high-level prospect.

Not high enough though in my mind. Horvat is a borderline team Canada player. It needs to be a player with huge promise if its just futures. Lundstrom looks decent but not nearly enough to centerpiece trading our captain in our division. Im thinking more like Drysdale though I know it wont happen. That is the value.

Why in the world would you prefer the speculation of an unknown 2022 pick who won't hit the NHL in all likelihood until 2024 over a 2018 pick who has virtually proven he's NHL-quality now?

I said I want the centerpiece to be bigger. I would def gamble on the Ducks 1st this season over Lundstrom though. Ducks could easily fall off and that's a top ten pick.

And then you might have the next Jake Virtanen or Nick Ritchie. And it will take you the next four years to find out.

Either that or Hughes, Rantanen, Makar, Seider. Lundstrom isn't gonna be an all star though he seems an ok piece.
