4. The investigation by Jenner & Block that was swirling around for months still comes down hard on the team and still forces Stan Bowman out of his job.


5. The Front Office and Ownership come to the realization that the era of winning Stanley Cups with Kane, Toews, Keith and Seabrook on the roster is now over and that it is time for a rebuild.


6. A sell-off of every pending UFA that has trade value takes place at the 2022 trade deadline.


7. Chicago selects a prospect in the Top 10 from the 2022 draft with a new GM and Head Coach in place.


8. In the Summer of 2023, Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews quietly retire when their contracts expire in contrast to how the Sedin twins from the Vancouver Canucks retired.


9. Kane and Toews are inducted into the HHOF on the first ballot while whatever happened during their first Cup run in 2010 becomes nothing more than a distant memory for the two of them.


10. With the 2023-2024 season right around the corner, the Chicago Blackhawks team looks entirely different from years past and can now turn the page to the next chapter of what is a historic franchise.
