Isles are not trading their current top-5 first round pick for Chiarot. I prob wouldn't even do it if they were best in the league. He isn't the type of defenseman that they need. Could make better use of the asset

Idk if you've looked at the Metro but it's ridiculously strong right now. Also if NYI is going to add a defenseman to their mix it should be someone with more team and younger. I personally think they should go after Girard as he fills their needs moving forward

Girard on the Isles would be sick. Chiarot should net a late first if there is retention, but I don't see the Isles as the right fit

Agreed, I've said before that Chiatoy can probably reyurn a 1st simply due to supply and demand of what he brings for a playoff team. NYI is not a playoff team right now and need a lot to go right for them to get there.
