We weren't willing to give up Rossi (and Boldy) for Eichel, so I don't see us giving either up for Miller, as good as he has been. We're really going to need cheap, talented players with the Parise and Suter buyouts so I don't know if we can even afford to give up one of our good prospects. That's why Fiala's name has been floated in media outlets since a) he isn't happy here and b) we'd have to move cap out to fit Miller next year. If the Canucks are asking purely for futures I don't think we'll be the buyer for Miller.

A deal like this will never happen with any gm. You aren't getting Marco Rossi much less a 1st. The overvaluing of jt, no matter how good he can be is almost unbelievable. Jt isn't eichel

Correct thats why this package is nothing close to what an eichel package would be. But you are getting a great player at 2.5m a season for 2 years. Thats gonna cost a lot. Plus you have to pay for their dead cap. Im not saying its a good deal for anyone but you thinking that you could get miller @2.5 for like a 1st is laughable.

Thank God it doesn't matter what you think. A player like jt is never getting a prospect like Marco Rossi or 1st round pick with Fiala like other wild fans here have said. Jt is also a free agent after next year, so you ate wrong. Just like Fiala is free agent after next year
