I'll check it in full later, I've also only scouted 25 players ( not counting overagers ) so I'm behind by a lot but I do have 146 names on my board

Im not too familiar with the 2022 draft, but Im going to start looking into some of the top guys

So my first of many questions to come is what do you see in Dolzhenkov? Haven't scouted him yet but he hasn't been ranked in any of the other 9 outlets whose rankings I use to calculate average position

I really like it. I agree with the first round, I see it similarly. I still don't have a good overview of the other rounds.

From the Slovak Perspective, I like that you already have Jozef Viliam Kmec in the updated ranking.

However, in my opinion, one name does not belong to this ranking and that is Jakub Kopecky (#121). Bad and slow skating, below-average stickhandling, overall his skill is average to below average. In my opinion, he has no chance of a draft, but his father is Tomas Kopecky, he was NHL player and that is why he is pushed to the national team in Slovakia.. Personally, I have nothing against him, but he really isn't a player for the draft. I think his career ceiling is the Slovak league, from what I saw.

However, today I would add another Slovak name, overager Maros Jedlicka. He made a really big progress compared to last season, I would wait for the WJC in December, he can really show up there. He dominates the Slovak Men's League, really excellent productivity for his age. Very hard working player, i like his energy on both sides. Dynamic skater, he shows some two-way potential, makes decisions quickly, but sometimes rushes more than needed. For now I have no idea from what position he could go, maybe anywhere from 4th to 7th round.

Really exciting blend of size skating and pick skills. He’s got a rocket of a shot and is a bully around the net. Could use some work rounding out his game as he’s a little raw all around but the upside is limitless for this kid.

So 2nd round of questions why are McGroarty and Lambert ahead of Cooley, Geekie and Miroshnichenko? I can kind of understand having Lambert ahead because of his pre-draft stock but I don't see why McGroarty is that high, I have him at 11. Also, I'd have Ohgren and Salomonsson higher (both around 20-ish) and Jack Hughes lower ( around 30-ish)

If I’m the Ducks and Nemec is on the board there, I don’t know how I pass on that!

I’ll admit a certain bias towards McGroarty because I’ve followed him for years. I like his all-around game and work ethic, I think he’ll translate to the NHL easier than the others you’ve mentioned. I think that there is still a lot of movement left to happen with the late first round all the way to third round this year, as there are so many talented prospects this year it’s somewhat difficult to discern one as better than the other. I expect to have a big swing in players in that range next update.

Just for fun. I enjoy doing it and decided to make it public. Places like Eliteprospects and Draft Prospects Hockey have better guides, but they cost money. I’m a college student who doesn’t have the money to buy a draft guide, so I make one.

This isn’t a mock draft, just a ranking. But I totally agree, I’d take Nemec over anyone not named Shane Wright if I was making the pick in Anaheim.

How long this take??

Think Buffalo should definitely consider this as well. Nemec, Power, Dahlin, and Jokiharju is a killer future top 4.

So couple more questions, why are Hutson and Mattias Havelid so low? I know Hutson, the answer is probably going to be that he's super small but the upside and skill he has is good, Havelid I have some concerns about his strength/physicality/defence but I still think he could be a solid player.

Also, how do you scout the players? Watching tape isn't my type so I prefer to read reports which is probably why I'm struggling to find info on players as I go down my list by average ranking, I'm at a point where the ratio of scouted players to players I've tried to scout but didn't have enough info on is 30:19
