Description

A lot of NHLers in this roster, though I also think they'll sprinkle in some youngsters and KHLers where it makes sense. Like Team Canada, Sweden will be a deep team and I suspect there will be a lot of snubs.

Sweden's got a good selection of defensemen to choose from, that's for sure. Brodin could arguably take Lindholm's slot though it will be competitive to gain a spot in the defense. As for Ullmark, it will be down to him or Reideborn. Ullmark's first season in Boston has been mixed, with a .908 save percentage and him having less starts v. Jeremy Swayman early on. Reideborn has been one of the best goaltenders in the KHL with CSKA with a .916 save percentage and he also had a .946 save percentage during his last stint with Sweden's national team. This could go either way, but I think Reideborn might edge out Ullmark in training camp but only just.
