I don’t remember, but I don’t think he ever hit the market.

Yep you certainly argue that Halak may have been a better choice if the Leafs wanted to go next summer with no NHL goalies but cap space. Halak and his bonus might be closer to a 3m cap hit.
But Goodrow is not good value. If he wasn't signed, then there about 3.7m for two forwards

Yeah I think a lot are saying Id take his contract at what it is now, but Id probably like him at about 3x3 contract, maybe 3x2.5 if your lucky. Looking back on it now, I wish TOR went after Troy Terry like it was rumoured to be lol
