With how bad Schifelie is doing playing centee and taking faceoffs plus the lack of right handed forwards, I'd actually wouldnt mind seeing him at RW. You never know! It could work!

I think we need to take over the lineup part of Maurice's game

God love em paul maurice but its time for a new vision and voice in winnipeg and in that locker room. no matter how good the coach, after a while, their presence runs its course. The Jets have drafted so well since returning yet this guy keeps so much potential talent down.

This is exactly what I would like to see. The only thing I would change is let Copp play centre on that line.

After watching last night it might be a stretch to call Wheeler a 3rd liner, insanity the ice time he's still getting, he's a detriment to line two and I don't see him as a fit next to Lowry, did I hear right, Wheeler had the most minutes last night??

One thing to point out about Wheeler.. there’s no lack of effort at all, he’s really trying

And he has a 8mill cap hit

By putting him on the 4th line U have essentially buried 8 mill cap space

Better to have him in the top 6 and try to live up to the contract

Based on his play he has more left in the tank.. he just has the lighten up and stop beating all the weight Jets fans put on him

The Blues won the Cup with Steen making almost $6M on the 4th line, if that's where Wheeler can help the Jets the most then so be it.

If he can help the #31 ranked penalty kill, then I'm all for it.

If he's willing to block shots then great, he sucks on the PP now so a new role needs to be found for the $8.25 million dollar man, don't see Maurice changing anything up though maybe he will, not sure but I don't think Wheeler was one of the six guys on the ice in the final bit of the Canucks game when they were trying to get a game tying goal, maybe that's a sign that Maurice sees the decline, will be interesting to see if there's any changes made and where Stastny is slotted when he returns.

While the Jets have a pretty solid forward group there's still some concerns imo and question marks
about fit and chemistry with some guys, also there's the question of if Maurice is the guy that can figure out how to best utilize these forwards and slot them where they'll be of best use no matter how much they make, how long they've been with the organization or how long they've been in the league.
