They contend for a cup and I would say they would be a cup lock if they had a Top 4 offensive defenseman instead of Staal.

The offense is well built, good scoring capability throughout the top 9 and a gritty fourth line make a well-constructed roster of forwards. Defense has a good first pairing, but slows down a bit from there. Goaltending is very dependent on which Carey Price shows up, and when. I think they make the playoffs as a bubble team, and make it to the second round. They could go further if Price wills them there, but I wouldn't expect them to win the cup.
