Clifford and Mrazek on the same team will be poison and I'm high on this Future Considerations kid, so I personally think the Blues won this trade.

Clifford cleared waivers today. So all 31 teams passed on him including the Leafs. The Leafs did this trade (future considerations) for roster flexibility. Clifford can play a certain amount of games in NHL before he requires waivers again. 30 games?maybe?. He will likley be a depth player and spend some time with the Marlies until a trade or injury happens.

30 days or 10 games....before he loses his waiver exempt.

Though I think he is going straight to the Marlies.
