1.
DAL
  1. Iorio, Vincent
  2. Choix de 2e ronde en 2022 (WPG)
  3. Choix de 3e ronde en 2023 (WSH)
Détails additionnels:
Dallas adds a boost to their thin RD prospect pool with a player that could be a good bottom-4 RD at some point in the near future
WSH
  1. Radulov, Alexander (3 125 000 $ retained)
Détails additionnels:
Washington gets (potentially) the 3rd piece of an all-Russian line with Ovi & Kuznetsov, if they elect to roll that line out.

If they don't want to put him on the top line, Radulov still gives them a good middle-6 RW at 50% retained for a playoff push that can be a solid winger at 5v5 and on either PP unit.
2.
DAL
  1. Khusnutdinov, Marat [Liste de réserve]
  2. Peart, Jack [Liste de réserve]
  3. Choix de 2e ronde en 2022 (MIN)
Détails additionnels:
**2022 2nd Round Pick Condition**

If the Wild make it to the 2nd Round of the Playoffs & Pavelski plays 50% or more of their playoff games, the 2022 2nd Round Pick becomes a 2022 1st Round Pick

The Stars get a forward prospect that could find his way into the middle-6 as in Khusnutdinov, as well as a long term project on defense in Peart. Khusnutdinov has a little bit of a safer floor, but both could be good NHL pieces for the Stars later down the road.
MIN
  1. Pavelski, Joe (3 500 000 $ retained)
Détails additionnels:
The Wild look like they could be one of the better teams in the West this year. Pavelski gives Kaprizov a short-term Center for what looks to be one of the better Wild teams in recent memory.

At $3.5M, Pavelski's all-around ability is a perfect stopgap in Minnesota until Rossi/Boldy are ready to potentially slide into that top line Center role next season. Pavelski is useful at both 5v5 & on the Powerplay. He's also capable on the RW side, should Minnesota look to deploy him there.

DAL
  1. Langenbrunner, Mason [Liste de réserve]
  2. Choix de 3e ronde en 2022 (CGY)
BOS
  1. Hakanpää, Jani
Détails additionnels:
Bruins get a stay at home, shutdown RD to add to their bottom-4 & their PK
4.
DAL
  1. Björkqvist, Kasper
  2. Choix de 3e ronde en 2023 (PIT)
Détails additionnels:
Dallas gets a change of scenery prospect that hasn't seemed to quite figure it out in the Penguins system, but still has a ceiling of being an NHL caliber forward at some point in his career.
PIT
  1. Faksa, Radek
Détails additionnels:
Penguins fans on this site seem to love Faksa. He's a fine bottom-6 defensive forward that is good in the dots and can eat up some PK time, but provides very little in the way of offense.

He can slide in immediately & provide defensive depth for the Penguins forward group for the next 3+ seasons
5.
DAL
  1. Robertsson, Simon [Liste de réserve]
  2. Choix de 4e ronde en 2022 (STL)
Détails additionnels:
Stars get a raw Swedish RW prospect that still has some significant gaps in his game that need to be polished before he's ready for the pro level. If he's able to iron out those flaws, he could turn into a strong middle-6 winger at the NHL level
STL
  1. Holtby, Braden
Détails additionnels:
The Blues get a short term backup to Binnington in order to give Hofer a little bit more time in the AHL to get his legs under him.

Holtby is a serviceable starting goalie for Dallas, but would be better suited in a backup/1B role which St. Louis is more capable of offering him. Instead of having to rely solely on Binnington, this gives them a starting goalie with a proven track record to handle some of the workload that Binnington would be seeing

While I'd love Pavelski, I don't think we should be pushing the chips in by moving picks/prospects for rentals yet (and I don't think Guerin will do that either, he's been pretty clear his plan is to build through the draft).

The Blues have less than zero use and just as much cap for Holtby. We'll just keep our prospect, thanks.

I would be in on the Hakanpaa deal to the Leafs. A big defensive RHD with no offensive game to speak off complements Rielly, Sandin and Muzzin nicely. Robertson going the other way would unite the brothers in a nice sentimental way as well.

I see Washington potentially being in on Pavelski and Holtby.
Depending on Backstroms health, center depth could be a huge concern and if Washington loses faith in one of their goal tenders, I could see them trade back for the vet Goalie that got them to the cup.

This is really well done and realistic man good job. I see most of these happening if the stars aren’t stupid stubborn and understand it’s not happening with the current group

This is a very much no for Minnesota. A rental much less his age isn't getting a top c prospect and d just drafted in 2nd round . Much less an additional 2nd round pick which can become 1st round pick. Like he's a rental.

That Pavelski one definitely isn't going to happen or is realistic in any way. Pavelski is 37 years old, and a rental at that. He's not getting anywhere near that kind of return. Not even with the retention.

Rads is arguably a better playoff performer than Pavelski (that's right folks) so the returns should be similar but I guess that is (sadly) realistic 😒

- rads has two 🏆 (QMJHL/KHL) pavs 1 (ncaa)

- both have 3 NHL playoff overtime goals

- career playoffs pts/g Rads 0.76 Pavs 0.73

(Pavelski in 3 more minutes per game)

Hakanpää is not much different than Forbort, bruins probably don't need him.

They don’t really. Just an insurance policy. This team seems to be on d man #9 every year in the playoffs.

Three second-round picks for Pavelski, a rental? I don't know if it's worth it... Maybe if you took Khusnutdinov away we could negotiate... My counter-proposal is Peart and a conditional 5th round pick. Pavelski is 37 after all. And you'd have to retain salary / take on Rask to make the cap work.
