I feel like the best part about this is that a lot of your fanbase can't even get out of your own heads. It's a Leafs fan that's the OP of this thread. You guys hate your team more than anyone else hates it. Your media swoons over 5th round prospects, and dumps all over players that are actually talented, and (not you specifically) a large portion of your fan base absolutely eats it up! It's hilarious.

And no, it's absolutely not just Leafs fans. There's a ton of great Leafs fans to follow on here...but the "Dump all of our bad players for good players/picks, re-sign Jack Campbell for pennies on the dollar, and Marner/Nylander SUCKSSSS!!!" crowd is hilariously (and weirdly) large.

Honestly, I don't think just about anyone outside the fan base actually cares about the Leafs as a team. It's just the weirdly large portion of Leafs fans that don't like nice things that irk the crap out of most, and that group pretty much sets themselves up here. Again, it's not all of you. There's a ton of knowledgable Leafs fans who actually do like nice things.

I enjoy a good gander at the comment sections on TSN/Sportsnet posts (Because they're hilarious...I don't comment because it's absolutely not worth it), and the VAST majority of people that dump on the actual team are Leafs fans. If it's a Habs post-it's the same thing. Aside from being over-reported on, and people saying things like "Who cares?!", it's literally just a beat down of your own team.
