The title says it all, what contracts would teams be looking to dump this upcoming offseason. Ideally 1 or 2 year contracts.

Seeing as they have cheaper options falling out of their ears, I'd imagine the Blues would move Scandella. Not sure I'd go so far as to call him a dump, though (despite the incessant caterwauling of some Blues fans).

Not calling them cap dumps but the Leafs will need to move out all of Kerfoot, Ritchie, Holl if they intend on resigning Campbell (which should be a must). Or they keep the aforementioned and look at trading Muzzin. Will not be easy decisions

You shouldn’t be signing Campbell unless u can trade Mrazek. 8-9 mill on the goaltending positions while already having high salary forwards makes no sense

Letting Campbell go would be the worst mistake Dubas could make. Sweet, if you can find a trade partner for Mrazek awesome, but if not, YOU STILL SIGN JACK CAMPBELL

Markstrom got 6x6 but he took Vancouver to the second round after carrying them through the playin. Grubaur also carried Colorado into round 2 and looked pretty good almost winning the Vezina which got him 5.9mill x 6 years.

Ullmark signed 5mill x 4 years
Peterson signed 5mill x 3 years
Demko signed 5mill x 5 years
Saros signed 5mill x 4 years

With Campbell's injury history and age coming into play I think we either see 4.5mill x 3 years or 5mill x 4 years

Tampa was lucky to have Coleman , Goodrow etc on cheap contracts. Now they lost both plus Gourde and Johnson and will likely lose Palat . Plus re-signing Cernak, Sergachev and Cirelli who they were forced to bridge because of cap issues will be harder now.
