So the Flyers get a guy who can really score which they need. He can also be a 2C (and in the process getting a great 3C) because at this point Frost seems too risky. He can definitely help out the power play. I would make the lines (fully healthy)

Atkinson-Hayes-laughton (equal to 3rd line cause AV rolls 4 anyway)
G-Seguin-Farabee
Allison-Thompson-Brassard

On the PP they get a guy who is an actual threat to score.



Stars get 2 good prospects both with pretty high upside and a bad contract but for only 2 more years. I think it's fair

Only problem I have with this is the cap space. Philly needs to dump JVR next offseason so they could sign Giroux. I can't see this this happening due to Sequin's high cap hit.

I could get behind this if they could sign Giroux at $7mil or less for 3 years. Seguin is not a contract they can take on (one of the worst in hockey) with the Hayes contract on the books. Otherwise they should let Giroux walk, and surround Farabee, Couturier, Konecny and Atkinson with deeper talent.
