Yeah I can see a bert for Girard based trade if bert was vaxxed that is. This isn't the deal though.

He has missed 3 of the 9 games he will miss (playing for Detroit) and he's still averaging over a point a game and 15 points puts him tied for 10th overall.

But I do agree Colorado declines this trade.

I dont love girards game. Hes good at transition but hes a Smurf and we know yzerman likes his dmen half a foot bigger. Still since I can't see them paying leddy to stay it would be nice to have some stability on the left.

and if they play a canadian team in the playoffs?

You are right but I also said Colorado doesn't make this trade. The comments on Bertuzzi were made because everybody trashes him but it is the same people in the off season wanting him dirt cheap on their team.
