Wow, on 2020-Feb-10 the Penguins gave up a first for Zucker. Some time trades just to not work out, this apparently was one of them.
Skinner, Asplund, Olofsson, Bjork, Girgensons, Caggiula, Ruotsalainen, and now add Zucker to our ever growing list of LW.

Bjork along with Caggiula are the Sabre's primary PK forwards, I think I would like to keep them.
With only Pysyk and Miller our only RHD IMO Friedman would be a great addition.
It would be an absolute steal for Buffalo I wonder if Pittsburgh would take Pilut and Ruotsalainen.
Pittsburgh has depth at RHD but little at LHD, Pilut could be convinced to return the NA if he knew he was playing on a good team.
They would be worth more than a 3rd and 4th as they would slip into the PENS line up now.

Would not trade Ruotsalainen. We can use Asplund, Girgensons, Okposo, and Cagguila as our primary PK forwards. Ruots has played lots of PK time in Liiga and AHL so I'm sure he can fill in on PK too.

Only issue is he is 5'8 and to face those type of PP specialists without being a big body it might not really work.

He's 5'9" and fully capable of playing defensive hockey. He excelled in Finland and the AHL where there are plenty of bigger players that he would have had to play against. He's also 185lbs, which for his height makes him a very strong player

No idea what you are saying here but all I'm saying is Ruotsalainen isn't someone I want to trade. Period. Sabres aren't making playoffs this year so what does it matter

Is he a reliable piece moving forward for the role he plays. Is he better than a potential target we can get from UFA or trade for that role?
