Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

This should probably be the year we trade Toffoli as the team will have 2.5 years with him at a very reasonable 4.25M even though he's had a slow start (who hasn't in MTL other than Suzuki). Some teams i think could use him (lmk if there are other needing a RW), what would you give up?

Personally I would ignore Coga's responses he is just a Habs troll, he doesn't think that anyone on the Habs has any value outside of Suzuki and maybe Caufield. Toffoli would return a 1st + from all of the teams mentioned above + probably 10- 15 more

I don't think Toffoli would be a worthwhile addition for us. Habs will ask the moon for him and he is a winger. If we can keep the band together (our dead cap rises to 12 million), we have Kaprizov, Fiala, Zuccarello, Boldy and Beckman already competing for a top-6 spot next year. We badly need centers, and Toffoli is not one.

COL wouldn’t give up a 1st for Toffoli, for COL and this is COL only I don’t think they are overly interested in a 2nd line guy on a multi year deal when cap flexibility is going to be paramount the next 2 off seasons. I think COL would be way more interested in someone like Kessel.

RFA that you can extend, I dont think it really changes much. Dvorak got a 1st and 2nd bc of desperation need for a Centre, Cs always fetch more and he had 4 years left on his contract. Toffoli with 2 years left. I think a couple draft picks is in the ball parlk

I mean NYR got fleeced big time there. Not sure it's a great basis. With term on his contract it's probably closer to Tatar from DET to VGK or Zucker from MIN to PIT

Its in between Dvorak and Buchnevich value. WHich is a couple draft picks. He wont get more than Dvorak in a return but he will probably get more what Buchnevich got
