Hey Csick, why is Ottawa so low in the standings? When my Sharks played there it was a tough matchup, maybe the toughest game of the year so far. Anyway, there is a bright future there.
Very poorly constructed team. Sens GM is a scout not a manager. He doesn't know how to manage assets (as you should know with Dahlen and Balcers) and doesn't know how to identify players that will improve his "team recipe"
Drake Batherson, Tim Stutzle, Josh Norris, Brady Tkachuk, Shane Pinto, Connor Brown, Alex Formenton, Nick Paul, Thomas Chabot, Artem Zub and Filip Gustavsson are all beauties. The rest are either stop gaps or replacement level. The young guys just don't have good veteran support outside of Connor Brown (which is awful GM work) which makes just winning a hockey quite the accomplishment. Very hard to win NHL games in the NHL today without at least 17-18 good players
Ottawa under-25 group is probably the best in the league though, but without proper ownership/management/coaching, they could actually screw it up (once again)
