Very happy starting skinner don’t really care about the results as much as getting him some experience this would have been his third start of the year if it was up to me. Philly and Rangers I would have started him home games against eastern teams. Ironically those are the two games kosk happened to play poorly in.
I’m not sure what to make of swapping yam for kass part of me wants to just leave that third line alone and let them figure it out but minor tweek is better than tossing all the lines in the blender so let’s see.

That’s interesting. I too don’t want to see the third line different, but I guess you have to award a good player, and get Yamamoto to start getting some points. I’m happy that McLeod is getting a chance even if it’s the fourth line. I also wanted Skinner to play, Koskinen needs a rest, and he finally is getting one. Of course we are stacking that first line against a back Detroit team. Probably to help Skinner by getting some goals. Not bad lines! Good job Tippett!

stacking the first line worked in Skinners last game, I am pretty sure they scored like 4 goals in the first 5 minutes in the 8-5 win vs. OTT

Because Hyman, RNH and Yamamoto has proven quite effective and Hyman, RNH, and Kassian should be too. For that matter, Foegele, Ryan, and Yamamoto should also be a good combination.
