You can't be serious with that Isles trade

why are you trading so much for Smith you can just sign him in the offseason

Not trading away 1st round picks, that's insane, especially for a pending UFA in Smith.

Isles wouldn't accept that deal either and I can't say I'd love it even if they did. Yes Pelech is a stud, but giving up a 1st AND Wallinder, meh... Don't get me wrong, Detroit would still win that trade, but when Wallinder becomes a stud too, we'll be kicking ourselves.

The Pelech trade is the closest one to being realistic. But most of the players you're sending don't really serve any needs for either team. They would definitely both be nice adds for Detroit though! And possibly worth the first rounders with some other prospects involved if Detroit makes the playoffs this year and next year.
