Description
I want to see a handful of games with these few call ups when Mitts/Olofsson are back.

Cozens needs a refresh to get some confidence back. - Sent down to minors

Krebs/quinn/peterka come up and play together, keep the chemistry going, see what happens - Call up for 8 games (if they time it right they get their 8 games in and then Tuch is back and ready to go when they go back down, then cozens and R2 can come back up)

R2 sent down with Cozens, play them together to build confidence - sent down

Caggiula sent down to fill that last spot - sent down

Wolanin in for butcher - rotated in, then out when Jokiharju is back

Promote Tage to line 1. I think he's earned it with his play. Continue to let him grow in a more impacted role

Cozens probably could use a few games in rochester. Ruotsalainen isnt a kid and hes already shown he can produce in rochester. He needs more meaningful minutes up here, either he shows he belongs or he ends up as a jody gage, and i expect he goes back home if hes gonna be an ahl guy. It sucks because hes 5'6", hes not gonna get unlimited chances like 6'6", former late first round, only active piece from ror- tage thompson. Which gets me to thompson, besides being a volume shooter, and being tall, im not sure putting thompson on line one does anything except help us make up some ground on the coyotes in the shane wright lotto.

Don't think the Sabres want to waste a year of Krebs ELC, correct me if I am wrong but I think if he plays one more NHL game this year the first year of his ELC is burned as he played 9 so far this year for Vegas. Why waste a year if this team is going absolutely no where.

I actually thought he already hit his game mark. Youre probably right though

I think you're right on the R2 front, however I just don't see him getting more minutes unless he can find a way to finish some more chances. Im interested to see him move up the lineup but wouldnt be upset if he doesnt pan out tbh(plenty of prsospects in the cupboard that look sick).

As for Tage, he's showing he's capable, and willing to take on the challenge of being C1 on this team(as the roster sits now). 7 point in 12 games and he's playing with a TON of confidence which i think goes a long way in this league. And by the way, he's third on the team in points, and plus/minus and is the top performing center on the team. So we need to stop pretending like he's not proving it right now...cuz he is. He's stepping up his game, and we need to recognize that

San Jose did the same with Eklund, gave him 9 games and then loaned him back to Djurgårdens

First, Krebs already has 13 NHL games so he is one year into his ELC.
Yes keep Krebs in Rochester along with Quinn, Peterka, Laaksonen, Samuelsson, etc.
It was a great move to sign several vets to play with the prospects, this is how is it done and was done before Adams took over.
Cozens did not impress me last year, so why should this year be any different.
Caggiula is one of the major reasons the PK is performing so well, I would NOT send him to Rochester.
I do not see the wisdom of playing a Career AHL LHD over a former Hobey Baker winner who has a career average of 35 pt/82 games.
We will leave that up to Granato as he has given Butcher more EV ice time than all defensemen not named Dahlin.
Finally, big players take longer to develop and who is bigger than Thompson. He still makes errors but I see him improving every game.
