For starters the TB 2nd naturally is more of a 3rd
Gauthier alone has at least that value
Hajek is whatever
But Julien actually posted a pretty good primary pts/60 rate (1.4) in limited TOI last season and is finally just moving into his prime as we speak while looking quite strong last season skating and puck control wise, so... yeah not too shabby ✔
A 50th+ pick for that? Sure. Good deal for ott likely.

For starters, a second is a second.
Gauthier alone has the value of an AHL filler.
Like so:

Hajek is whatever, like you said.
And so is Gauthier.
Their draft positions from 5 years ago are outdated.
Gauthier has played 3 games this season at 12 minutes in TOI and has done diddly squat with it.
He is a healthy scratch most games.
During the expansion draft, the Rangers protected Kevin Rooney of all people instead of Gauthier.
During the expansion draft, the Kraken selected Colin Blackwell of all people instead of Gauthier.
That's how much value Gauthier has.
I know.
What a Shocker.
Ottawa declines.
