The whole McCann situation made Dubas look like a fool.

Protecting 4 Dmen over protecting 7 forwards was the wrong decision, would losing Holl or Dermott really hurt as much as having a McCann in the lineup instead of Ritchie ?

Doesn’t have to be holtby. Could be any goalie on the FA market this past year who signed for 2.5 million or less. Main point is the leafs simply did not need to spend that much on a back up tendy

He really got the best of both worlds this year. He'll save on taxes until the deadline, and Toronto fans/media won't have time to get sick of him between the deadline and the playoffs. Hope Mrazek likes low taxes.
