Zacha is a dime a dozen player. A good second/third line forward. Every team has a player like Zacha. Tuch is one of the few power forwards in the NHL and has been a gamebreaker in past playoffs.
Guess we'll have to see on Krebs and Foote. Apparently it was Krebs or Theadore in the Eichel trade so that's quite the NHL comp. Again, every team has a prospect like Foote. Holtz and Hughes are also worth 10 Footes. Maybe I'm wrong but I value elite prospects way more than a guy who will just play games and maybe develop into a 2nd line centre. They're comparing Krebs to ROR.
Zacha is a dime a dozen, but Tuch is a gamebreaker? What?
Zacha is unquestionably the more valuable player.
Their last 82 games
Zacha: 27g, 29a, 56 pts
Tuch: 21g, 20a, 41 pts
Zacha is also around the same size, a year younger, and has half the contract (Zacha $2.25 million, Tuch $4.75 million), is more well-rounded player, can play center, is better defensively, can play short-handed, takes face-offs, etc etc.
Foote and Krebs are similar in value.
Foote has had a little more success as a pro, has significant size advantage, and better shot.
But I give very small edge to Krebs since he is a better skater and playmaker.
But they are not far off.
