With Eichel fully gone for mostly futures their timeline is now 2025+ so jarve and brann fit that way better than tuch and Zaitsev doesn't impact that at all

Tuch is useless to them as a player himself

So why not trade him for two A level young assets

The Sabres are doing better than Ottawa right now and havent had Eichel all season. Not only they they have 4-6 prospects that could be starting in the NHL next year. Tuch is only 25. The Sabres arent a 4 or 5 year project, everyone is completely disrepecting Adams as well as underestimating this prospect pool. Brannstrom also does not fit in Buffalo in any capacity. I dont know why this point needs to be repeated over and over

In my opinion, I like Brodeur a little more due to how dominant he was, but Hasek, Brodeur, and Roy were definitely the best goalies of the modern era. (I'm not counting older players like Hainsworth, Plante, etc.)

But with what to show for it and hasak isn’t the best goalie if all time

Hasek is easily the greatest goalie of all time
