According to Kevin Weekes, Matthew Tkachuk, a "future" first-round pick, a "former" first-round pick, and two prospects.

I think that the Flames have to protect against Eichel's medical condition failing to improve.

Unless someone is playing games with the "former" first round pick (i.e., Monahan or Zadorov, etc.), I think the choice is between Coronato, Pelletier and Zary, and I think Calgary can afford one of the two center prospects more than Coronato, especially in light of the loss of Tkachuk.

The prospects are all over the lot, but I assume that Buffalo fans' constant objections to having any defense prospect included in any Eichel trade are grounded in knowledge.

Other than Tkachuk, this is the team that is off to a fast start in the Pathetic Division and could survive to make it into the playoffs without either him or Eichel. Of course, Jack's return before season's end could increase their chances to make the playoffs dramatically.

The bottom 6/8 looks a little soft.
