Description

This is a tough one...Paul Kariya is my favorite player of all-time, with Selanne a close 2nd. The team has struggled at both ends of the ice, and while it might make sense to add some offence, I feel like the better bet is bringing back the guy who has won at every level. 4 Stanley Cups, 2 Olympic gold medals, a world cup, a mem cup, and a bunch of other stuff.

I think I'd be a Teemu guy if Kariya didn't get drafted the exact same year that I started following hockey as a kid...absolutely heartbreaking to see him leave.

I've never forgiven ANY of the Suters for the dirty after-K-goal hit from behind that gave Kariya the concussion that eventually ended his career prematurely.

So good. Signing Rob to get Scott was one of the best things Brian Burke ever did for the Ducks (And Rob was a valuable member of that championship team).

My other fav Burkie moves for the Ducks:
-Trading for Pronger.
-Trading the Ducks 30OA (Rakell) and 39 OA (Gibson) to pick up 22 OA (Biggs) when he was with the Leafs
-Trading them the Manson pick when he was with the Leafs
