Description
my thoughts on what the lines and my thoughts on some of the players and who I think should be on the team and shouldn't be on the team.

TOR
  1. Chiasson, Alex
Détails additionnels:
I'm not a fan of Chiasson, he's not good enough for the top 6, not good defensively for the third line and too slow for the 4th line. He does his job on the powerplay fine, I just hate that he's getting first PP ice time over better forwards when that unit is clearly not working.
2.
VAN
ARI
    Tanner Pearson

I don't understand Green's obsession with putting Pearson and Horvat on the same line. Don't get me wrong I like Pearson but I like him more on the third line. It would also give Horvat faster and better linemates that could boost his offense
    3.
    VAN
    EDM
      Justin Bailey

I am a big fan of Bailey and I think he deserves a spot on this roster. He's a fast player that can kill penalties and can create scoring chances. He's perfect for a speedy 4th line and defensive 4th line.

        He can have my kids.

        VAN
        NYR
          Jack Rathbone

Rathbone hasn't been bad so far. I don't understand why we would rather have Schenn play on the left side than Rathbone. He has great offensive skills but needs to be better in his own end. Having a guy like Poolman or Hamonic on his pair could help him out a lot.

They way i see it is without Pearson That Horvat line is pretty small, one part of Pearson's game that is underrated is shot and really each line should have a main trigger man and that's been Pearson since his time with Van plus having great Chemistry, Rathbone had been Horrible defensively so far and needs some time in the ahl to work on it so he doesn't lose confidence

It's funny that the Luke schenn's of the world don't get appraised like that "great defensive skills but needs to be better in the other end" both ends matter for D

He's very far from great defensively also

Insane to even consider him over rathbone atm

          Size is increasingly fringe tho

A factor in only 10% of all game situations

Almost all of it is skating, passing, etc.

Chiasson isn’t a speedy player but I NEVER seen him as any sort of liability in Edmonton was always an excellent depth forward that was very reliable on the defensive end. He can’t be used on an attacking line due to foot speed but a third fourth line checking role id be happy to have him.

The only reason Rathbone was sent down was because he's waiver exempt

If he was good why didn't the Oilers re-sign him?
