Jets don’t need any defenseman, they could use possibly a 3a or 3b center with some offensive touch or a coach that sets some lines and forgets about it and build some chemistry.

The Jets already have plenty of smallish LHD, would be better off just keeping Vesalainen though I really like Brannstrom, they really need to get Vesalainen shooting and with a better center then ol stonehands.

The Jets have ~200k in salary cap space that won't accrue this year. Any TDL adds have to be at the expense of losing someone from the roster. I don't see the team doing much at the deadline barring injuries

I think this is a bit of wishful thinking. I also think making the playoffs this season would hurt more than it would help. We just don't have enough high end talent yet.

I think Gus is going to be ready by after the Olympics or possibly closer to playoffs, could see stastny and Wheeler needing a Center to play a regular shift with and still have there pp minutes. Jets could also use a trigger man on pp, an attempt to fill laines hole. But can’t have everything in the budget.
