Chychrun is untouchable, crouse is not close to being a top 6 winger and I don’t see them interested in moving cost controlled hayton.

I could see wanting chychrun and hayton but crouse boggles me.

I get chychrun isn’t getting moved but Sandin Holl and a 1st isn’t nothing. Especially gaining value on both of the other two players. It certainly isn’t doing any favours for the leafs either.

A pile of trash won't get you anywhere close to Chychrun or Hayton. Crouse is an underrated player. Sandin is easily outworked and outmaneuvered by 4th liners, and Holl really isn't much to write home about either. The 1st round pick will be a middle of the pack pick, so its not worth as much as other suitors 1st round picks might be. Ritchie is outright garbage. Kerfoot is ok I guess. And that leaves Robertson, who at the very least is the best piece in this trade right now, albeit not like this trade package was any good to start with. While the young pieces are something, they really aren't enough to even get you through the front door of trade conversations.

Auction Mathews off and try to load up for one cup instead of trying to pull off some perfect dynasty, which is impossible without cheaper deals on the top players. Arizona quite possibly overpays enough to load up for that one cup, or keep selling out and selling a ton of jerseys.

I guess watching and analyzing the sport for 10 years means that I am new to hockey. My comment is from what I have personally seen with my own eyes. And what I have personally seen is embodied in my comment.

To get Chycrun it'd take Sandin, Robertson and a 1st,
I get Hayton hasn't taken off but he's still young and fits what Arizona is trying to do so they have time to see if he can figure it out or not.
Kerfoot, Ritchie and Holl while useful don't really do anything for Arizona and then they're supposed to trade a 2nd and Crouse too, idk, just doesn't make much sense for Arizona, maybe if the 2nd coming from them was removed it'd make a bit more sense but even then I'm not sure.
