That Anaheim deal is plain awful for Buffalo. Okposo only has one more year left on his deal, And you want to eat Henrique’s remaining seasons? You also give away 2 first round picks and Krebs.

Henrique has 7 points in 9 games and has plenty of quality hockey left in him and if Anaheim is retaining 50% AND taking on Okposo, then it’s absolutely worth that much. Also, do you even have any idea how good Lukas Dostal is? This is a future franchise goaltender which Buffalo desperately needs, especially since it sounds Ukko-Pekka Lukkonen has been a disappointment according to a few Sabres fans that I’ve talked to. Dostal’s ceiling alone merits that return for Anaheim and Buffalo should be privileged to even be getting other assets and freeing up cap space in the process.

I don’t think goalie prospects cost a 1st let alone 2 and a A+ prospect could be wrong….

Let’s get this straight
BUF - loses Eichel, Okposo, and 2023 1st
- Gets Tuch, Henrique, Dostal, Mahura and 2022 1st

Let that sink in. Just a little longer. Just a tad longer.

On what planet does a GM keep his job doing that ANA trade. I mean by far the 4 best pieces in both trades are Eichel, 2023 BUF 1st, Krebs and Tuch and BUF gives away 2 and only gets 1. This is really really bad.

There is some serious flawed logic going on here. Henrique was on waivers less than 6 months ago and BUF passed on him, why in the world does BUF care about cap space they just cleared $10M moving Eichel and Okposo expires way before BUF is even remotely being good. Dostal is a 21yr old AHL who this year has a sub .900 save percentage and yet you seem to be arguing including him in a trade is justifiable as paying MORE than what the Sabres got for a top 10 player in the NHL locked up for the next half decade. This is not good on any level.

You’re making this argument while conveniently leaving out Brendan Brisson as a piece gained. Your argument is automatically mute. Next time be sure to include every piece when trying to come in here and make a point.

And you think that makes the trade good? LMAO. You have a top 10 player in the league an almost guaranteed top 5 pick in 23 and you get back a package of spare change. BUF wouldn’t make that trade with ANA for just the 23 1st. You are getting crushed by fans of teams not even involved. It is epically awful for BUF.
