Also, I really don't care about this trade.
I just find it hilarious how strongly early season bias effects fans opinions of players.
Marner (or anyone) has an eight game slump during the middle of the season, no one notices.
He/they slump to start the year, and they've peaked, there worthless, trade value in non-existant, etc, etc
And it usually follows them long after the slump ends.
Quite entertaining, and predictable.
