If Nashville was to look to tear it down, trading a 23 year old dman currently being given 1st pairing / 2nd pairing (him and Carrier are currently getting close to the same TOI) wouldn't be the go to. Fabbro is young enough to where he should still be in his mid to late 20s when the team comes back around. You might be able to snag our Myers if he keeps being outplayed by Fabbro and Carrier. Teams just don't typically deal good young players in a tear it down rebuild. There really isn't much to be gained by doing that.
Tearing it down would begin with trading (in no certain order) - Josi, Ekholm, Forsberg, Sissons. They are the oldest of the "core" of players (that have tradable contracts). Our Myers could be on the table as he currently isn't getting into the lineup (he needs to be in the top 4 in our defensive system but is getting beat out by Carrier, Fabbro, Josi, Ekholm).
From a Nashville perspective: it just doesn't make sense (and the 1st isn't in the right year).
