I'm playing in a Yahoo standard league with 12 teams. I don't want to carry more than 4 Defensemen. Who should I drop? I need to free up a roster spot for Mackenzie Blackwood, assuming he returns this weekend.

2. Seth Jones CHI
3. Mikhail Sergachev TBL
4. Esa Lindell DAL
5. Rasmus Andersson CGY

I'm torn between number 4 and number 5. But, I don't want to be quick to drop Lindell. His Hits and SOG are strong, giving him a high floor. His offensive ceiling is obviously limited. If anyone who has watched the Flames this season can provide insight into R. Andersson's play, please do so. He's putting up decent Assists and PPP, but his SOG and Hits are weak. Thx.

Hahaha! C'mon man. Jones is currently ranked 126th in Yahoo, despite a plus/minus of -9 in 7 games played. But, he's got 6 points. He's my #2 D behind Theodore.

He's just so bad defensively and so overpaid that his offensive skills may be getting overlooked.

I'd drop Lindell just since he's playing on the stars and as you said, that limits his ability to produce. While for Andersson, the sky is the limit since the Flames are proving many people wrong this season and he could get much improved totals from that.

Id drop Lindell. He was only a placeholder on PP1 until Klingberg came back and now hes not on either PP unit
