    3.
    NYI
    1. Tarasenko, Vladimir (2 500 000 $ retained)
    Détails additionnels:
    (salary retained by Arizona)
    STL
    1. Iskhakov, Ruslan [Liste de réserve]
    2. Choix de 1e ronde en 2022 (NYI)
    Détails additionnels:
    Lottery protected 1st round pick

STL not in a rush to trade VT91 but the trade request has not been rescinded. Armstrong waiting for a team to up their offer. I doubt a 1st round pick has been on the table yet. Couple that with a decent NHL C prospect that's maybe 1 more year away from making the jump and not having to retain a dime on Tarasenko this could be enough.

Your logic is okay, but the reality is the Blues are in contend mode. Getting nothing back to help the current team probably ain't gonna do it. Besides, as his price goes up, it won't be by a nickel or dime.

Yeah I think STL is a sneaky deep team. Just comes down to how ugly it can get I guess. Don't think Tarasenko is a bad teammate per se but he can only be patient for so long. If his complaint about STL doctors have merit that's a problem.

You could always take that 1st and flip it. There will be names available at the deadline

I don’t see vladi agreeing to a trade to the islanders, their a defensive minded team and that’s what got him hurt having to play more physical. Plus this year if he’s over 30 goals by the deadline it’s going to be an expensive deal and I don’t see him going anywhere with how the chemistry is now with the team and his line. Armstrong is holding on unless someone brings a big offer and that would be multiple first rounders and a nhl ready prospect or 20 goal scorer. Obviously that all depends on how well vladi is doing but I could see him getting 50 this year

It's pretty well known the Isles are on his shortlist of teams he'd accept a trade to. I think that ask is sky high and he'll never get it but we'll see

If he’s putting up big numbers by the deadline those aren’t sky high asks, if a team wants to add scoring he brings then they will have to come up big with an offer, the first rounders don’t need to be future picks but prospects already drafted. It would also depend on the caliber of prospect as well.

It's not ugly at all and he's not a bad teammate at all. Do you see anything affecting him or the team?

I'm not a fan of trades that make extra work. Don;t think Army is, either.

”Multiple first rounders and a nhl ready prospect or 20 goal scorer.”

”I could see him getting 50 this year”.

Haha what is happening? Are you paid by Doug Armstrong? This is two of the most deluded sentences I’ve seen on this site. 5 games in and suddenly he’s prime Ovechkin. A month ago no one was willing to pay a likely ”modest” prize to get him, and Seattle didn’t want him for free.

He has been really good so far and I’m happy for him and the team, it’ll be interesting going forward how both parties proceed.

5 games in and Lou panics, he offer St. Louis:
    2022 1st
    2023 1st

If he stays healthy he has the ability to keep up with ovechkin. For a 5 year stretch only ovi had more goals than him then the injuries hit. Yes it’s only 5 games but he’s enjoying himself like he did when he was putting up 40 goals and this time he’s surrounded by better talent. He’s finally smiling and talking on the bench after every shift because he’s not worried about if his shoulder will fail the next. If he’s on a pace for 45plus goals then that price isn’t crazy, he’s 28 he can easily do 6-7 more years and for a team that struggles to score the islanders if they had the space in cap would probably do it.

Also no one wanted him Bc of his shoulder they didn’t know if it was really fixed or not, no one would give up anything decent if the return isn’t going to make it one shift. His shoulder is good so far hopefully it stays like that, he will end up staying a blue tho

He's 30 in one month, not 28. You are entitled to dream big, I (and probably the rest of the 31 fanbases) don't agree with you hyping him to Ovechkin levels. You give examples from 6 years ago when he scored 40 goals, and now he will score 50. Based on 5 games. It's nuts in my opinion. If he looks the same after 50 games and is on pace for 50 goals, lets discuss this again.

50 goals isn’t ovechkin levels lol you act like only Ovi has the talent to put up 50 goals or something. Multiple guys in the league have the ability to put up 50 goals vladi is on of those guys when healthy he could do it

And you act like it’s pretty usual for a player to score 50 goals a season. There have been 5 (!) players since 2010 that have scored 50 goals; Alexander Ovechkin, Steven Stamkos, Corey Perry, Evgeni Malkin & Leon Draisaitl.

”Ability” as you call it and actual results are not always the same you know. And Tarasenko hasn’t scored 50 goals ever, he was at best 10 goals behind that. Can you really say then he’s got the ability to do so? He’s proven to be a great goalscorer when healthy and all that (in his prime) but never as good as the 5 goalscorers who’s actually reached 50 goals the last 11 years.
