That was a little craze at one point when nurse jones and werenski all signed. Recently youve seen a lot more reasonable deals with ekholm parayko and pulock (admittedly an underpay though).
Also we dont need more dmen, we have solid players. Just trotz insists on playing chara 20 minutes a night and wont play aho or salo who's looked amazing so far. And hes also limiting dobsons ice time. The defensive struggles arent on Lou not getting good players theyre on Barry for not playing the talent that we have.

Lou needs to get price closer/below Pulock and Pelech. Feels like a slap in the face to them
