Believe me ur not the only one. Unless the minutes were spread 17 minutes across evenly on the top 3 lines this is a major problem for development imo. We’d literally be limiting his potential on our own.

Highly disagree 3rd line on good teams should have 1 solid albeit over the hill Vet, 1 rookie, and one young piece who trying to establish himself, they are sheltered a bit with not having to face the best D players in the league, they can get up to speed and figure out the big leagues and then once they are ready they jump to the top 6.

But he won't get better playing with Chytil. A better 3rd line would be Kreider-Chytil-Blais.

chytil and Laf will be the foundation pieces of your 2nd line in 1-2 years, why not play them together now and see how they work with one another! then add a power forward to protect them on the RW! 4th line would be horrendous but 3rd line they could flourish together this year and then your 2nd line is set for next year when Strome walks
