What is the problem in Chicago? Is it MAF? Defense?

If CHI isn’t gonna play him, then trading Strome to a team in need of an offensive center, like SEA, makes sense. I don’t think this deal gets it done though.

Not enough for Strome

Not sure about that. Strome is a healthy scratch on a bad team or a 4th line C. Don’t really see how his trade value is going to be much higher.

Colliton is definitely hurting Strome's value, but I think a guy that is only 24 and had 89 points in 116 games with CHI prior to last season has more value than a 6/7th defenseman. I think Lauzon is fine in his role, but he doesn't net Strome. Strome is young, has draft pedigree (GMs tend to value that), and has shown he can produce at the NHL level. He's poor defensively, which is probably why Colliton isn't playing him, but he still has more value than Lauzon. Not as much as some CHI fans think, but more than this.
