Im unsure if you’re aware that this is for next seasons Maple Leafs team. So it’d be Erne for one year with salary retained. I wouldn’t be giving up anything else more for a 3rd liner.

Detroit still passes, Dermott is a no go. we've Johansson, Edvinsson and one of McIsaac/Wallinder coming up sooner rather then later. So no thanks on Dermott he's not much of an upgrade at LD.

Leddy and Dekeyser are free agents next season and Staal could very well retire. But although I’d understand the decline as there are LD prospects and better LD to get.

There's a very good chance that Leddy could be resigned, He said he loves it there in Detroit and would love to mentor Seider more if he can. And DeKeyser is just worthless pretty much the reason why Hronek has been a healthy scratch these past 2 games.

I'll give ya erne for that. He's a bottom 6 guy and nothing special so a 2nd is an overpay nevermind a depth dman.
