I feel bad too.

It was a bad trade from day 1.

I was literally pouting like a child when I found out how much we overpaid in this trade. I feel a bit vindicated about my concerns after seeing how bad this has gone so far. I’d say there’s a chance it could get better but I think it’s a non-zero chance and I’m sick of the rhetoric anyways.

I do mean this with all sincerity.
But I have posted before, I think Bowman had his sights set on Seth Jones as the next shut down defenseman, and went so far as to bring Caleb in first. The problem was once Caleb was acquired, Jarmo knew just how bad Bowman wanted Seth, and he held out for the return he got. Otherwise, Seth would have been free via UFA just one year later, in 2022. Bowman played a dead man’s hand (poker terminology), and his days are probably numbered in Chi-town, similar to Holland’s demise in Detroit.

The thing is. He's EASILY our best dman. By a very wide margin too. (Doesn't make the trade value ok) It's just a $hit system their in. Jeremy Coliton needs to be fired. They get worse every year JC coaches.
