An eleven million dollars players should not need to be surrounded by top talent to perform. Let him try to be a "superstar" on his own, people will realize how average Marner is.

I love watching the leafs implode as much as the next guy but what a dumb take to say they shouldn't shuffle things to get him going simply because he makes a lot of money

i was thinking that Nylander - Matthews - Marner would be a sick line for at least a year now, but then the problem becomes that there isnt much behind them
i've heard kase and bunting have been playing well, so i thought they might be good for tavares, but then behind that the bottom 6 becomes kinda meh

I’ve been thinking:
Nylander - Matthews - Marner
Bunting - Tavares - Spezza
Kerfoot - Kampf - Kase
Ritchie - Engvall - Simmonds

with Kerfoot taking some shifts in Spezza’s place if the playing time becomes too much for him.
