That's not a Marner challenge for the Leafs, it how the Blues could ever fit them into Marner into their cap.
Gotta think 7.5m Tarensenko has to come to the Leafs.

easy no from the Blues, if marner was worth it the Leafs would keep him. They aren't going to give you 3 top 6 pieces for an 11 mil dollar anchor

It's an undeniably obvious fact. And if you want to factor in cost value, character and position, then yeah, RobTom is clearly the one the Blues would rather have. Is this news?
